Signify's shares rose 5.6% to 28.16 euros at 1110 GMT on Friday, among top performers on Europe's benchmark STOXX 600 index (.STOXX). Workers at state-owned postal company PostNord joined the strike on Nov. 20 and stopped distributing the license plates to Tesla. The state-run transport agency turned down Tesla's request to pick up the license plates itself and also declined to send them via distribution channels other than PostNord. Nov 16 (Reuters) - Swedish games developer Embracer (EMBRACb.ST) topped second-quarter operating profit expectations on Thursday, aided by its restructuring efforts, sending its shares up more than 11%. The group, which owns the rights to the Tomb Raider and Lord of the Rings games, reported a 14% drop in adjusted operating profit to 1.8 billion Swedish crowns ($170.2 million) in the quarter through September, but beat analysts' forecast of 1.62 billion crowns. The decline was mainly due to a lower contribution from PC and console games, it said. It announced major restructuring plans in June, after a $2 billion partnership deal with an undisclosed company fell through in May. Embracer's shares have lost nearly a half of their value since it warned on profit in May.

The maker of France's iconic TGV trains said it aimed to cut about 1,500 staff to help meet its confirmed mid-term targets. Alstom plans to cut its net debt by 2 billion euros ($2.2 billion) by March 2025. As of Sept. 30, it had a net debt of 3.43 billion euros.

Nov 14 (Reuters) - Juventus have renewed the contract of Nicolo Fagioli until June 2028, the Serie A club said on Tuesday, after the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) banned the midfielder for seven months for breaching rules on betting on matches. Fagioli's previous deal, signed in August 2022, was valid until 2026. "The relationship with Nicolo therefore continues, with the midfielder having arrived at Juventus in 2015 as a 14-year-old, rising through the youth ranks until his senior debut in 2021," Juventus said in a statement. The ban of the 22-year-old Fagioli, who made his Italy debut in a friendly 3-1 win against Albania in November 2022, began on Oct. 19, meaning the player could return to the squad for the end of the season.
